From July 1 to August 31, 2026, when you shop in person with your Interac debit card or mobile wallet, and make 5 eligible transactions of at least $5.00 each on 5 different days, you’ll automatically be entered for a chance to win one of thirty $1,000 prizes — just for using your own money.

What You Could Win
A total of 30 prizes of $1,000 each will be awarded to confirmed prize winners from among randomly selected personal account cardholders across Canada (excluding Quebec), of participating credit unions.

What Transactions Are Eligible For An Entry?

To count as an entry, each transaction must meet all of the following criteria:
• Contactless Interac debit only (tap with physical card or mobile wallet)
• Made at a Canadian point-of-sale terminal
• An in-person point-of-sale transaction
• A minimum of $5.00 CAD per transaction including taxes
• Not a chip-and-PIN transaction (only contactless “tap” transactions qualify)
• Multiple taps on the same calendar day only count once toward progress

*NO PURCHASE NECESSARY (NPN). Open to legal residents of Canada (excluding Quebec) who have reached the age of majority and must be personal account holders with a participating Canadian credit union offering Interac® debit cards and/or digital debit wallet functionality. Earn 1 entry per eligible debit card by making 5 eligible Interac® debit transactions of at least $5 each (including tax) on 5 separate calendar days between July 1 – August 31, 2026 (“Contest Period”). If you hold more than one eligible debit card (e.g. personal and a joint account), each card earns its own entry. You may also enter without
purchase by mailing a 50-word or less letter responding to the contest question. 30 prizes of $1,000 CAD each available to be won. Limit 1 prize per person/household. Mathematical skill-testing question required. Winners will be announced by October 31, 2026. Odds vary depending on number of eligible entries per Contest Administrator.
